“Queer posla” je moto prve izložbe koja nije tematski čvrsto koncipirana, što je spontano rezultiralo time da su queer posla ispala situacijska, dinamična, po korištenim tehnikama vrlo raznoliko ispričana priča.
Radovi su protkani ili se direktno odnose na (i)zakulisnu igru umjetničke produkcije i djelovanja, potpuno neopterećeni misterijem (queer) identiteta, ali po istom misteriozno povezani.

izlažu: Helena Janečić, Ana Opalić, Dana Budisavljević, Željka Fuderer-Levak, Iva Habus, Lea Kralj Jager, Darko Vaupotić, Gabrijela Ivanov, Tanja Topolovec.

art rezidens in Greenville SC (USA), October 2008

“Postcard from Greenville” is a mural created and executed by Tanja Topolovec (graphic designer) and Helena Janecic (painter). The mural depicts seemingly random objects that impacted the two artist during their stay in Greenville, South Carolina. Most objects depicted deal with advertising and package designs that symbolize american culture and lifestyle in the eyes of a foreigner, and are combined together in a free collage composition.
The mural was created as a part of a artistic exchange between croatian and american artists.
The material for the mural was funded by the “Painted House”, a mural company from Greenville, South Carolina and the project is supported by the Ministry of Culture RH and ngo UKE.

Visiting USA 12-24. October 2008

how much queer work co. is on the trip around USA to explore to meet to see to research (…) the lesbian culture an more.. our destination is South Carolina the so called bible belt of the US, very conservative and religious part. To gain energy and strainght to deal with the christian youth we will visit New York city, ofcourse! And there the meaning of quer work will take on a more broader sence :)
